Temperance London review

We visited Temperance, Fulham for cool sports bar vibes and classic pub grub

00:00It is a pretty miserable night here in Putney on Thursday, but I'm excited because I'm here at Temperance Pub.

00:06This area is probably best known for being the home of Fulham Football Club, of course.

00:11A stadium that's a bit harder to get to than others in London.

00:13I think it's fair to say either a bit of a trek from Hammersmith or getting on the right branch of this line and heading through the park.

00:19But Fulham is known for being a really nice part of the city.

00:22The river's just there. It's got the football club and a lot of nice pubs and restaurants.

00:26Temperance is one that's very popular with Fulham football fans.

00:29If you look it up on Google, it's one of the recommended ones if you're going to Craven Cottage.

00:33They've just launched a new menu this month, so we're going to head inside and give it a try to see if it's worth the hype.

00:39There we go. That is the Temperance.

01:00Had a really good pub meal, exactly what you would want and think it would be.

01:04A lot of sharing plates, so a good place to come with your mates or football maybe.

01:08Hadn't been before, but apparently it's had quite the dramatic rebound since last October, I think they said.

01:13So if you've not been since then, probably cool to check it out.

01:16A lot of screens as well showing lots of different sports, about six or seven different matches and games on.

01:20So even on a non-match day, if you're a sports fan and want somewhere to watch the game with some mates,

01:25a pretty good place to come.
