00:00The COMALEC issued a guideline to stop the spread of debates and the upcoming 2025 midterm elections.

00:10According to the POLLBUD, this is to establish a law that will play a major role in the decision-making of voters.

00:22Under Resolution 11-1115, the organizers must ensure that all candidates are invited, accommodated, and well-represented.

00:36They must also ensure that the treatment of the candidates is fair.

00:41The organizers must also ensure that their venue arrangements and even the moderator's clothes are not politically biased.

00:51The organizers must also ensure that the COMALEC will conduct the debate, forum, or interview series a week before the event.

01:01The POLLBUD clarified that the attendance of the candidates in such activities will not be limited to an allowed airtime.
