00:00The last batch of automated counting machines that will be used for the 2025 midterm elections has arrived in the Philippines.

00:07It means that the 110,000 machines rented by the Philippines for the elections are now complete in Comelec.

00:15According to Comelec Chairperson George Erwin Garcia,

00:18because of this, they will be able to quickly test the quality of the machines.

00:23Meanwhile, while the ACMs arrived, Comelec Chairperson George Erwin Garcia also announced

00:30that they have approved the disqualification case against the barangay captain in Cagayan de Oro

00:35that was divided by a large number of barangay certificates for the mass transfer of voter registration.

00:41The captain was recognized as Rainier Joaquin Uy,

00:45who runs as a congressman in the 1st District of Cagayan de Oro.

00:51This day, the Commission of Elections officially accepted the 9,860 machines that are short of the 110,620 machines.

01:02Because of that, they were able to deliver this earlier.

01:05It took a little longer in our Bureau of Customs,

01:08but this proves their faithful compliance with their obligation in their contract with us.
