00:24In his statement, he submitted his irrevocable resignation on February 5,
00:29which was effective at the end of the month.
00:32In his resignation, he emphasized that he was not fully satisfied with the things that were expected of him.
00:40As a former mayor, Chavez insisted that he should be made public the real reason for his resignation.
00:47He also insisted that since he served in the administration,
00:51he has always served in the best way possible.
00:55And now, he will leave with pride and gratitude and hope for a brighter future for the country.
01:02However, it remains that Chavez continues to support the current administration
01:07as he continues his public service.
01:10He also thanked the President for the opportunity to serve,

01:17Although Malacanang has not yet confirmed,
01:20Chavez has already talked to the veteran journalist, J. Ruiz,
01:24and told him that he will be introduced to PCO Mancom on Monday
01:28as the start of the transition in his appointment as a secretary of the PCO.
