00:07This is the reaction of former Finance Secretary Margarito Tevez Jr.

00:11to the current oral argument in the Supreme Court

00:14regarding the transfer of PhilHealth's funds, which is worth P89.9 billion.

00:20According to Tevez, PhilHealth has sufficient funds

00:24to continue giving benefits to their members,

00:28including the hard-earned P682.2 billion in the third quarter of 2024.

00:35PhilHealth's total assets amount to P510 billion in cash.

00:43Tevez said that these funds are sufficient to meet the needs of its members and their obligations.
