00:00The Department of Migrant Workers, or DMW, ramped up its programs for OFWs in compliance

00:06with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:10DMW is continuously fighting against illegal recruitment and human trafficking.

00:16In fact, the department has fixed more than 2 million OFW contracts thus far.

00:22While it has taken down almost 20,000 illegal recruitment establishments so far, DMW has

00:28helped almost 135,000 OFWs through its Action Fund.

00:33The agency aims to focus on promoting bilateral agreements with other countries to create

00:38more opportunities for OFWs.
