00:05be killed through an explosion to create vacancies in the upper chamber. House Assistant Majority

00:11Leader Zia Alonzo Adjong called for an investigation by the National Bureau of Investigation, or NBI,

00:17emphasizing that even jokes about killing should never be normalized. For his part,

00:22one-rider Partylist Representative Roger Gutierrez, a lawyer, warned that Duterte could

00:27face grave threat charges, stressing the seriousness of the words and the need for

00:33senators to increase their protection. Both officials agreed that such statements

00:37should not be taken lightly, regardless of the intent behind them.
