00:05benefited from the Mega Job Fair in Tagum City.

00:09President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. won this,

00:13where he once again emphasized that his administration is complete,

00:18whole, and can't be left out of the government's services.

00:22That is the central news of Gav Villegas.

00:26President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. personally visited

00:30the Mega Job Fair in Tagum City, Davao del Norte,

00:35where almost 3,000 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program

00:40from Carmen and Tagum City visited.

00:43This was initiated by the Office of the President

00:46and Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 11

00:50in order to improve the lives of four-piece beneficiaries in the country.

00:54This is an implementation of our mandate and promise

01:01to raise the standard of living of every Filipino family,

01:06especially our beneficiaries of four-piece and tupad.

01:12We also continue to strengthen the distribution of services for all of you

01:18so that you will be able to find a job and serve

01:24towards the fulfillment of your dreams in life and for your families.

01:30It is expected that 3,000 pre-identified existing household beneficiaries of four-piece

01:35will be able to benefit from the program.

01:37The so-called beneficiaries will transition out of the program

01:41due to various reasons.

01:44The work in the new Philippines Mega Job Fair was initiated

01:47in order to provide work and income to four-piece beneficiaries

01:52so that their livelihood will remain progressive

01:55even if they do not receive assistance from the program.

01:59The 43-year-old four-piece beneficiary

02:02from Magsaysay Carmen, Davao del Norte,

02:04named Michie Natan,

02:06hired on the spot as a cashier in a mall in Panabo, Davao del Norte,

02:10where she has been a four-piece beneficiary for seven years.

02:13I am thankful that I was hired.

02:16If it wasn't for the four-piece, I wouldn't have been able to fulfill my dream.

02:21According to the Regional Director of DSWD Region 11, Merlinda Paragamac,

02:26the program is a great help for four-piece beneficiaries

02:30because they have been in the program for seven years

02:32and they need to transition out.

02:34This activity is important because we provide services for them.

02:40We wanted them to have work

02:43so that our assistance to our four-piece beneficiaries will be sustainable.

02:50The Department of Labor and Employment Region 11 also helped

02:55by inviting various employers and partner companies

03:00where there are a total of 887 job vacancies

03:04available for beneficiaries.

03:07There are also various special services for beneficiaries

03:11such as Job Seekers Assistance Booth,

03:13Labor Education and Livelihood Desk,

03:16and Career Development Support Services.
