00:00You probably have a tier of four there that you're, like, extremely comfortable with.

00:05I know Spencer Steer's good, but, like, it's those first four that you're like,

00:09OK, I got one of the, you know, I hate to say elite because I just basically,

00:13this is a crapshoot a lot of times with guessing on humans.

00:16But Alonzo Olsen Harper, Vlad Guerrero Jr., very thrilled with that,

00:22especially with Guerrero going into a contract year.

00:24And then you're sort of taking a shot on the rest of these players here, George.

00:27Like, this is not an enticing list when you consider Sal Perez qualifying at first,

00:32being a catcher.

00:33I mean, Michael Bush, like, I don't even want to have anything to do with that.

00:36So, you know, maybe honestly that there's some players that are up and coming

00:41or younger players that we could probably get into here.

00:44But naturally, I think that there's going to be a very strong tier here at the top

00:51and then a little bit of a guessing game after that.

00:54So that's what I got.

00:56And by the way, Vlad Jr., to me, is the most interesting name here on the list

01:01in a show everybody season what I can do.

01:04So I think this goes the way of Vlad Jr.,

01:08and I think maybe he ends up number one at the end of the season.

01:12I mean, he could get moved to the deadline, right, if Toronto's out of it,

01:15and they're not going to get anything for him.

01:17He's going to want a massive contract, probably north of $400 million,

01:21which is going to be interesting because he's not that kind of player,

01:25doesn't age much on defense or base running,

01:28and his physique might scare some people, you know,

01:31four or five years down the line what that's going to look like.

01:33But we don't care about that unless you're playing in a dynasty or a keeper league.

01:37Yeah, I think he's at the top.

01:39First base is weird because I use that.

01:41It's top heavy.

01:42If you don't get one of the top four or five, you can wait, really,

01:45and you're going to hope for the Pasquatinos of the world.

01:47You mentioned Pedro Perez or Bellinger, who still qualifies at first base,

01:51and see how that works out for you, Tristan Quesas.

01:54I think Guerrero should have a monster season.

01:56I do.

01:57That ballpark's a band box.

01:59It was a band box before they moved the fences in a couple of years ago,

02:02but he doesn't really hit all that well in Toronto,

02:04so it's a strange situation there.

02:07I don't think he's a first-round pick,

02:09but any time in the second round after that he is.

02:11I would still prefer a more well-rounded player, Freddie Freeman or Olsen,

02:15if I'm going to go with Bryce Harper,

02:16although Harper's another guy who can't stay healthy for the whole season here.

02:20But like I said, you need one of the top four or five first basemen.

02:23If I don't get one, Craig, I'm going to be waiting.

02:25Yeah.

02:26What do you think?

02:27There's one player not on this list that I think that I probably,

02:30going into the season, would have higher than Bush, higher than Perez,

02:34higher than Berger, maybe where Naylor is there.

02:38I would insert him around that area.

02:40What do you think about Christian Walker in that?

02:42That's the guy I was looking at.

02:45I'm like, what do we say about Christian Walker?

02:46Yeah.

02:47Doesn't it feel, George, like Houston opted for him over Bregman in a way?

02:51Like it felt like that was a target for them going into the season.

02:54You know, a couple of years, Houston's been,

02:56doesn't it feel like Houston has been, for the last decade,

03:00even with winning those World Series,

03:02it feels like that's been a hard position for them to solidify.

03:05They tried Abreu, remember that?

03:07Before, I believe it was Uli Gurriel playing first base.

03:11It feels like they'd like to get that position locked in.

03:14This is the first time they've had what I would call an above average

03:17first baseman.

03:19Agree with you on all counts, right?

03:20I would have Walker higher than where he is.

03:22You know, I'm looking at a composite ranking now.

03:25They've got him 12th, you know, below the guys you mentioned.

03:30Below Perez, below Steer, Bellinger, right there.

03:33I would have him probably ninth.

03:36So that's a big difference.

03:37I'd have him behind Naylor, behind Pasquantino,

03:39although you make an argument I would take him over Pasquantino as well.

03:42It depends on how much power you want there.

03:44But I would have him right in that eight to nine range.

03:46Behind Naylor, but right there.

03:48Like I said, just tier two.

03:50That's what he is, tier two with some upside here.
