Jamie Dimon slams petition from 1,200+ JPMorgan employees fighting full-time RTO

00:03This week, more than 1,200 JPMorgan Chase employees launched a petition calling on

00:08their CEO to retain the hybrid work model that the bank has used for years.

00:12But according to Reuters, Dimon doubled down on his five-day in-office policy in a town hall

00:16meeting, telling workers that if they don't want to come back to their desks every day, they can

00:20leave. His comments come weeks after the company announced that all staff would be required to

00:24return to the office five days a week starting as early as March. JPMorgan reportedly spent as

00:30much as $3 billion on its new 60-story New York City headquarters that will house up to 14,000

00:36employees. The building features a 19-restaurant food court plus perks like physical therapy,

00:40yoga and meditation classes. But the fancy amenities aren't convincing some employees to

00:45come back to the office. News of the petition comes as JPMorgan is facing a unionization push

00:51and discontent from some employees who say they received low yearly bonuses and pay bumps.
