00:00I'm just walking up Church Street in Alton towards the Allen Gallery.
00:07The trust that runs the gallery, the Hampshire Cultural Trust, has just signed a new lease with Hampshire County Council.
00:13This will enable a £1.7 million grant for the National Lottery to be used for its £2.5 million refurbishment.
00:21The gallery has also received £10,000 in community infrastructure levy money, paid out by Alton Town Council.
00:30And here is the gallery in all its current glory.
