00:00Hey, it's People in 10.
00:05So the Eagles kind of humiliated the Chiefs at the Super Bowl on Sunday.
00:09And during the halftime show, Kendrick Lamar followed suit by not only performing his Drake
00:13diss track, but also bringing out Drake's ex, Serena Williams, to do a crip walk to
00:18it.
00:19Now, I know Kendrick and Drake are beefing, but getting his ex involved with over 127
00:28million people watching, that's the kind of petty I live for.
00:31And you all agree.
00:33Her sister Venus loved it too, and her husband Alexis even gave his stamp of approval.
00:38Serena broke her own silence after the performance, captioning a behind-the-scenes video, quote,
00:42"'I died a little.'"
00:45And the winning team made it a family affair.
00:47Saquon Barkley's daughter, Jada, stole the show when she crashed his press-up, while
00:51Devonta Smith's baby girl, Kais, played in a sea of confetti.
00:55Drake Sirianni's son, Miles, had jokes after seeing his pop-up drenched in Gatorade.
01:00And Brandon Graham had his whole crew supporting him on the field.
01:04The Eagles won big, but these are the real MVPs.
01:09Meghan and Harry are all in at the Invictus Games this week, with Meghan even making her
01:13Instagram Story debut with some behind-the-scenes moments from Vancouver.
01:17At the opening ceremony, the couple clapped, laughed, and basically had a full-on date
01:21night.
01:22The event was honored by Squamish Nation students and community members, with Meghan
01:26sending a little thank you afterward for their kindness.
01:29At another event, they passed the mic to Michael Bublé, who serenaded the crowd.
01:36Then it was time to hit the ice, to watch the Skeleton Racers speed down the course.
01:40A terrified Meghan even gave snow tubing a whirl, while her hubby cheered her on.
01:45Now, unfortunately, their kids were back home in Cali, but Team Nigeria had them covered,
01:50gifting two festive jerseys for Archie and Lilibet to enjoy at home.
01:55Congrats are in order for Gisele Bundchen, who just welcomed a baby boy, her third, but
02:00her first with her boyfriend Joaquin.
02:02And well, we don't have too many details, but a source tells us his middle name is River,
02:07a water name, just like his big bro Benjamin Rain and big sis Vivian Lake.
02:12No word from her ex Tom Brady yet, but don't worry, he's keeping busy.
02:18New York Fashion Week was packed with stars and proud parents.
02:21Brendan Frazier sat front row with Todd Snyder to support his son Holden, while Molly Ringwald
02:27and her teenager Roman made their Fashion Week debut together at Lingua Franca.
02:31Over at Tom Brown, Bill Nye strutted the runway in a Zodiac blue jacket, supporting prostate
02:37cancer research.
02:38Winnie Harlow wowed in red at Christian Seriano, while Sam Smith snuggled up to Kesha at Christian
02:43Cowan.
02:4482-year-old Calvin Klein made a rare appearance at his own show, catching up with supermodels
02:49Christie Turlington and Kate Moss.
02:52We spot Kendall Jenner there too, and her ex, Fab Bunny.
02:55No word if they interacted, but they do seem to be on good terms.
03:00Well, Selena Gomez is dishing on Emilia Perez.
03:04The good and the bad.
03:05Let's get the deets from Breanne.
03:07Hey, Mika, what's up?
03:09Hey, girl, we have so much to talk about.
03:13Let's start with the positive.
03:14Selena had a ball on set.
03:16She did.
03:17So she was at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival this week, and she said she's
03:21ready to just focus on acting, which is kind of sad, right?
03:24But she said making this type of art and being around the people on set uplifted her.
03:27So it's going to be very hard to ever go back to music after this.
03:30But you know, people say stuff like this when they're just having fun.
03:33Yeah, I can't imagine her stepping away from music.
03:37But listen, if she's happy, we're happy.
03:39But let's pivot for a second because this movie has had quite a bit of controversy.
03:42Selena addressed that too.
03:44What did she say?
03:45Yes.
03:46So some really offensive comments by Selena's co-star, Carla Sofia Gascon, have resurfaced
03:50in old tweets where she criticized Muslim culture, George Floyd, and diversity at the
03:54Academy Awards.
03:56Emilia Perez's director Jacques Odiard called the comments inexcusable, and Carla has since
04:01apologized to anyone who she might have offended.
04:04Even Selena admits that some of the magic has disappeared with the scandal, but she
04:07was also adamant that she's proud of the movie and would do it again.
04:11How does this impact Oscar chances?
04:12Does the film still have a shot?
04:15Oscar voters likely won't be able to ignore the controversy, but it is the most nominated
04:18film this year with 13 nods.
04:20It's likely it will win something, but the question is whether it will win one of the
04:23bigger prizes like Best Picture.
04:25The fact that Carla apologized helps, but then again, this isn't the movie's only controversy.
04:30The film previously faced criticism from the LGBTQ plus community and GLAAD for its portrayal
04:35of trans life and even over its depiction of Mexican life.
04:39All good points.
04:40The Oscars are on March 2nd, so we will be tuning in.
04:43Thank you for the info, Brianne.
04:44I'll talk to you later.
04:45Talk soon.
04:46Bye.
04:47Bye.
04:48Scarlett Johansson is putting her foot down about the use of her likeness in AI generated
04:52videos.
04:53In a statement to People, she even urged the government to put limits on artificial intelligence.
04:58This is all because of an unauthorized AI video that showed her and other Jewish celebrities
05:03calling out Kanye West's antisemitism.
05:06Even though the message is right, Scarlett warns that no matter what, if we don't limit
05:10the reach of AI, we risk losing our hold on reality.
05:14She is so right.
05:15This is so realistic, it's scary.
05:17Don't believe everything you see, y'all.
05:21After three long years, we're finally getting a glimpse of season three of Euphoria.
05:25And this is it?
05:27Just one photo of Zendaya after all that waiting?
05:30Hmm.
05:31So what do we know?
05:32Well, it looks like the show's creator, Sam Levinson, is sticking to his promise to style
05:36this season like a film noir.
05:38And Z said there's a time jump, so we're looking at an older, more adult Rue.
05:43We also know Storm Reid and Barbie Ferreira are not returning.
05:47And of course, Angus Cloud, who died in 2023.
05:49We'll see if the season addresses his absence.
05:52Other than that, it's pretty much up in the air.
05:55But we're hoping for some loose ends to get tied up.
05:58Rue still owes that woman money for Pete's sake.
06:02Almost five years after the tragic death of Glee star Naya Rivera, her ex Ryan Dorsey
06:07is opening up.
06:08The now single father says his focus remains on their son, Josie.
06:11I'm trying to be the best dad, the best parent that I can be and raise a good little man
06:18one day.
06:19Josie is now nine years old, and even though he witnessed tragedy at a young age, Ryan
06:23says he's doing well.
06:24He's such a happy kid.
06:26There's no depression.
06:27There's no sadness with that kid.
06:29He gives me a reason to keep going with my life and something to live for.
06:33He's even urging his dad to expand their family.
06:35He wants a brother.
06:36And I say, well, what if it's a sister?
06:37He's like, no, but I want a brother.
06:40Now it's the sit down with Jason Isaacs.
06:42Hi, Jason.
06:43Season three of The White Lotus.
06:45Let's get into it.
06:46I hope you enjoy Thailand.
06:48We usually go to the Caribbean.
06:49Walk us through the process of joining the cast.
06:52Were you already a fan of seasons one and two?
06:54You're the first person I've ever said this to.
06:56I've done already 100 interviews about this, and I lied to Mike and Dave and told them
07:01I was a huge fan.
07:02After the audition, I binged season one and season two.
07:04The only reason I hadn't watched it is my family had started without me.
07:07They loved it like crazy.
07:08And then season two came on.
07:09They said, watch it.
07:10And I went, I want to see season one.
07:11So I just hadn't caught up.
07:13I watched all of them in like a day and a half.
07:15I basically just sat and stewed in my own filth, watched it, and realized why people
07:19made such a fuss.
07:21And then I was a fan.
07:22But by then, I think I had the job.
07:23I went to audition and put myself on tape in New York when I was there, because I was
07:28there to launch Archie.
07:29It's the show in which I play Cary Grant.
07:30And I walked past all these giant billboards in Times Square with my face on it to go into
07:35a casting director's office like I used to in my 20s and put myself on tape so that,
07:40you know, I certainly couldn't get too big for my boots.
07:44And I was anxious and nervous and chattery in there.
07:47And then I got the job.
07:48I obviously didn't do too appalling a job.
07:50Your character on the show is Southern.
07:53And it's funny to think there's a whole generation of people that don't know your English.
07:57Yeah, yeah.
07:58Well, a lot of people think I'm American.
07:59They've only seen me in American shows.
08:01And it is odd.
08:02In fact, what I often do when I'm working, if I'm doing films or television series, unlike
08:06this one where I had so much time off, I stay in my accent all day, every day.
08:09For me.
08:10Not because it's Method.
08:11I don't stay in character.
08:12But I remember making a film called Mass a couple of years ago.
08:15And we were in Sun Valley.
08:17And I went on my one day off to go and play tennis.
08:20And I met all these lovely people.
08:21I played tennis with them.
08:22And I met Matt's Philanders Club.
08:23I was very excited.
08:24And I left.
08:25I came back.
08:26I was on my way back to the hotel.
08:27And I thought, oh, I was American the whole time.
08:29I'd forgotten all these people had met me.
08:31They must have known I was English.
08:32I don't know why.
08:33They must have thought I was mentally ill or something.
08:35But I didn't stay in my accent for this.
08:37But I find it easier.
08:38I try and stay in it all day when we're filming.
08:41Just because then when they say action, you're not suddenly putting it on.
08:44And I did.
08:45I think I might have stayed in it for a few weeks before my wife arrived.
08:47That's very intense.
08:49I remember one very emotional night with who I was, one of the actors who told me some
08:53very personal things, me going home and thinking, did they think, did they notice that I was
08:58being American?
08:59And does that feel like a fake conversation?
09:00Because it was very, you know, very intimate.
09:03Everything will fire.
09:04It's just work stuff.
09:05We're not supposed to tell my family.
09:06We're poor now.
09:07And Daddy's going to prison.
09:08Who, in your opinion, has the potential to be the new Jennifer Coolidge this season?
09:15I think that's a fatal mistake.
09:17And I know that I understand why you ask it, and I think the audience might begin to
09:20ask themselves that.
09:21But Mike is too brilliant a writer and too endlessly inventive to repeat himself.
09:25No one can be Jennifer Coolidge, but then no one could be Armand from season one either.
09:31Jennifer's kind of iconic viral popularity is a one-off, but Mike's genius is his stories
09:37and his characters.
09:38And so he's not trying to build, you know, a catchphrase or an iconic personality again.
09:43He's just doing what he does well.
09:44And I think what people should do, if they want to enjoy it, is erase comparisons and
09:48just while we have him, you know, enjoy the genius of Mike telling these stories.
09:52These gays, they're trying to murder me.
09:55Okay, we don't want to have to let you go, but we have to.
09:58So to finish up, in 10 seconds, tell everyone why they should check out The White Lotus
10:02season three.
10:03If you liked season one and season two, this is bigger, better, richer, deeper.
10:08If you haven't seen the first two, watch them now and then watch this.
