00:07This Wednesday, the union mobilized along the main avenues of the city of Panama to
00:12reject the reforms on the Social Security Fund law.
00:15However, the police dispersed the demonstration with tear gas.
00:19The union announced that they will meet with the National Assembly to demand the withdrawal
00:23of the initiative promoted by the government to privatize the Social Security Fund, besides
00:28raising the retirement age.
00:30Legislators refused to listen to the proposals of the popular movement, which seek to warranty
00:35dignified pensions.
