How does the Rangers rotation compare to Seattle's & the rest of the division?

Rangers pitchers and catchers reported to Surprise today, so baseball season is officially upon us! K&C discuss the state of the team's starting rotation, how it compares to the best in the division in the Mariners, and where it'll stack up by season's end.

00:37And then they got this guy named Brian Wu who had a really good year last year is their

00:42number five.

00:43Their number five starting pitcher last year pitched 121 in third innings, 96 hits, 13

00:51walks, 101 strikeouts with a 289 ERA and a whip of .90.

00:56Oh, yes.

00:59That is arguably their best and they have them projected as starting the fifth game

01:04of the year.

01:05Wow.

01:06Now I just gave you their number five starters numbers and I think they're interchangeable.

01:10I don't want to say they have five number ones.

01:12That's too extreme.

01:13But they have five really good to great starting pitchers.

01:17Wanted Castillo so bad a couple years ago.

01:20I was like, this dude is a strikeout pitcher here.

01:23He was fourth in innings pitched for them last year at 175 in a third.

01:29When I go to the Rangers, Nathan Evaldi led the team in innings at 170.2.

01:38This is the Rangers second best starting pitcher last year was Andrew Heaney who's still a

01:44free agent but probably not going to be on the Texas Rangers.
