00:00Hi, this is Evangeline. I'm reporting live from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

00:04Just witnessing the launch of the Soyuz MS-15, the spacecraft that is carrying the astronauts,

00:12Hazar al-Mansouri, into the International Space Station.

00:16The liftoff was a success. It began on time at 5.57 p.m. UAE time.

00:23At 5.57 the entire thing was complete and we could see the rocket go through the clouds.

00:29The excitement was huge and people were shouting, cheering as the rocket went up.

00:36And some were even crying. There was a lot of emotion.

00:41The crew was watching from a separate point and we could see them waving at the rocket as it went.

00:49There were people crying while this was happening.
