00:00The first UAE astronaut will be launched to space on September 25, 2019.
00:09The launch will be at 5.56pm Dubai time.
00:12He will arrive after around six hours to the ISS.
00:16So at 12 midnight they will be arriving to the ISS and they will be docking and they
00:20will have to wait for another two hours for the hatch opening to happen.
00:23The hatch opening will happen at two in the morning and it will only happen after confirmation
00:27from the ground station team and from the other astronauts in the International Space
00:30Station that everything is safe and there is no leakage.
00:33And from that, Hazza al-Masouri and the US astronaut Jessica and Oleg from Russia will
00:40enter the ISS and they will start their scientific journey.
00:45Many of the missions worldwide, when they start their missions, they start with eight
00:49days, short mission.
00:51And I can tell you that Hazza's mission is very packed with scientific experiments, research,
00:56educational programs and some communication with the students here and the public here
01:00on Earth.
01:01The microgravity and the exposure to the radiation and the vacuum that is in the space
01:10environment or the harsh environment in space will definitely have an effect on the human
01:18body.
01:19But during the studies that will be conducted on Hazza al-Masouri in this mission and from
01:26the previous studies, there are different tests being done on astronauts pre, during
01:34and post the mission to come with results to have evidence on the effects.
01:42So basically there is a recovery time for astronauts after the missions.
01:49So the recovery may differ from one astronaut to another, but luckily all astronauts could
01:58recover after their missions.
02:06The International Space Station is a gateway for humanity for space exploration.
02:10Through Hazza, we will introduce to the people in the UAE, in the Arab region, people worldwide
02:15for the first time, to many people for the first time, the importance of these experiments,
02:19how it will make a great change for our future, how it's important to study our human body
02:25in different research because things that happen on ISS in a microgravity environment
02:30is different than what happens here on Earth.
02:32So it's very important for the scientific community to do research here on Earth and
02:36to do it again in space and see the differences and learn from it and go from there.
02:41From there we will have unique results.
02:44A unique test will be conducted on Hazza that will give us evidences on the studies that
02:52are always conducted on ISS.
02:55So here we will know exactly if the environment or the person environment affects the results
03:03that we get from the space or in microgravity in general.
03:08I would like to invite everyone to watch the launch and learn all the details of how hard
03:12it is and how complicated this launch is and wish Hazza al-Mansouri and the other crew
03:17the best of luck on a successful mission.
