Bangladesh former government behind possible 'human rights violations' says UN

Bangladesh's former government was behind methodical attacks and killings of protesters as it tried to hold onto power last year, according to the UN's Human Rights High Commissioner Volker Turk. "There are reasonable grounds to believe that officials of the former government," he says, "committed serious and systematic human rights violations."
