00:09I think he's probably a little bummed out.

00:12I mean, we obviously know he signed up for Luca and Kyrie and seeing them go to the finals

00:18last year and thinking he could be a piece, you know, a weapon from downtown that could

00:24help them.

00:26I think he is a little bummed out, but this was him last night.

00:30Now, this is kind of a funny one.

00:32There's been a lot of trades.

00:33It's hard.

00:34You got new guys coming onto your team.

00:36You don't really know them that well.

00:39Even a guy like Clay, who's been around the league for a long time, he doesn't know everything.

00:43So Max Christie gets traded to the Mavs from the Lakers.

00:48Clay just always assumed that it was Doug Christie's son or he was related to Doug Christie.

00:56That's when Clay finally found out that that's not the case.

01:00I thought that was Doug Christie's son for like years, but I've clarified that with him

01:09and they're not related, but there's no measurables, you know, 6'6 off guard.

01:15So I mean, I've been incredibly impressed with Max.

01:19What a great addition.

01:23I mean, I've had great success with Michigan State guys in my career and he's just another

01:27one.

01:28They come in.

01:29They know how to defend.

01:30They are team players and he has such a bright future in this league.

01:34Listen, I'll give you that.

01:37That is the one thing that, you know, that really, that said a lot right there about

01:42Tom Izzo.

01:44He prepares guys for the NBA like no other.

01:48Everyone that plays at East Lansing knows how to play both ends of the floor and they're

01:52physical and tough and they're not crybabies.

01:56I know that Draymond Green's insane, but he's not a crybaby.

02:01He's just insane and he's got a bunch of rings too.

02:05So they all come to the NBA, to the next level, ready to go.

02:10That was, that was the one thing I got out of that.

02:13It's funny that he's not Doug Christie's kid, but the reality is he's another great

02:17player to play for the Spartans.

02:19And as I said yesterday, Izzo caught night for big 10 wins.

02:23It eventually happens when they die.

02:25Everyone gets their records caught in sports.

02:28It always eventually comes around, but that's, that's a very poignant thing of what, what

02:33happens when you play at Michigan State, you end up in the NBA and you're ready to go from

02:36day one.

02:37You're not, you're not a candy ass.

02:40You are not.

02:41That's for sure.

02:42But I know it's been a while since Tom's won a title, but he does have guys ready to

02:46play when they get there.
