Car goes off 9 Mile Road, crashes into Ferndale apartments building

One person is in the hospital after a car flipped over on 9 Mile Road, crashing into an apartment building in Ferndale. WWJ's Tim Pamplin was on the scene.

00:00This is WWJ reporter Tim Pampling. We're along Nine Mile and Central in Ferndale.

00:06It appears to be a very serious single vehicle crash here.

00:09This vehicle plowing into the site of this apartment complex.

00:12Nine Mile is shut down westbound. I think it's going to be shut down eastbound here shortly at Central as police investigate.

00:18Now something I noticed, those two vehicles there, Oakland County Sheriff's investigators,

00:22they don't get pulled out to a scene in a community unless the situation is really significant.

00:27So we'll wait for updates on this throughout the afternoon right here on WWJ Newsradio 950.
