00:00The third season of Fashion Forward wrapped up this Sunday at the Madinat Arena in Dubai,

00:12and fashionistas stomped their way to the final catwalk performances.

00:16The 3D event closed with strong showcases from local designers.

00:19You will see the greens, the flowers, and everything when you are going, you know?

00:25Once you enter, you just see the abstracts, I call it God's creation, it's the nature.

00:31You just enter and you see the water dropping, how it's making the lines uneven, it's just

00:38coming from nowhere and that.

00:40So I took the collection out of two sections, outside Jaidah, inside Jaidah.

00:50It was comfort, it was me going back to my roots, wanting to express who I am, the way

00:54I am.

00:55I would wear most of those clothes.

00:56Apart from the dresses, the jackets, men can wear them, women can wear them.

01:00It's stuff that you want in your wardrobe, it's stuff that you want to travel with, it's

01:03stuff that you want to wear on your way to work, it's stuff that you would wear to dinner.

01:07And I just wanted pieces that, when you get into them, you think, oh my God, how comfortable,

01:12and you also think, you know what?

01:14I really, really, really want these in my wardrobe, and I want them to be a part of

01:18me with a twist.

01:26The collection was called I Want a Fairy Tale, a line that Julia Roberts used in her movie

01:33Pretty Woman, one of my favourite movies as I was growing up.

01:38It has a few shapes that are inspired from that movie, including her nightie, his jacket,

01:44the robes.

01:45But really mainly it's about creating your own fairy tale, not really settling for what

01:50is there and what has been given to you.

01:54It has a lot of print material, everything is custom made, embroidered love word lace,

02:03the puff lace, everything is designed by us, manufactured by us.

02:08So it's a very unique, very special collection.

02:11I think it speaks to the feminine side of every woman, and I hope it inspired girls

02:18to go out and have some fun.

02:25The dramatic final show, courtesy of Filipino designer Fern Oney and his Amato label, was

02:30a fitting end to the first installment of the 2014 Fashion Forward event in Dubai.
