00:00The Dubai World Cup isn't just horses, jockeys, and rich prizes.

00:15Jaguar once again hosted the region's most anticipated fashion event at the World Cup,

00:19the Jaguar Style Stakes.

00:21A must-attend event for any self-respecting fashionista, the event was held at the Jaguar

00:26Style Stakes Arena at the Maidan Racecourse.

00:29There were winners in different categories, Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Man, Best

00:34Dressed Couple, Best Hat, Most Creative Hat, and Long Jeans' Most Elegant Lady.

00:39Surprisingly, it was the men who took it upon themselves to add fun and frolic to the evening.

00:43This is going to be the new black, yellow is kind of like a powerful color, yeah I believe

00:49that.

00:50When you walk down on the stage, you got to be smart, yeah, do some acting, you know,

00:54do some movement, move the bag, bring it down there, just be funny.

00:58The judges loved his cheeky enthusiasm.

01:01I think the reason we chose the winner is because of his character, and I think what

01:04really was nice is that, you know, he put on a little bit of a show there on the catwalk,

01:07because he showed off his personality, which was really nice.

01:10In terms of the dress, he went all out in terms of the details, like you get the red

01:13line across throughout the suit, I know that color might not be liked by everyone else,

01:18but for us it was something different, so I think that was a nice thing about that as well.

01:21While the men were appreciated for their adventurous tricks, the lady who won the Best Dressed

01:25was strictly conventional.

01:27When you come to races and also, you know, being in Dubai in the Middle East, you have

01:32to mix the modern and also think of, you know, how the culture is and, you know, what Dubai

01:38represents, and I didn't want something which shows a lot of skin, and I just wanted something

01:43elegant and something that represents me, and this really just represents me.

01:47For me, this is the color that I thought, you know, felt right, but girl, you know,

01:52whatever color expresses who you are and you've got big, bold personality, then wear those

01:56colors.

01:57You know, find a shape or cut that really fits your body and that makes you feel 100%

02:01confident so you can rock it on the stage.

02:03So find outfits that work for you and then let your personality come out, because that's

02:07what fashion does.

02:08The winners in the Best Dressed category get to drive a Jaguar F-Type Coupes sports car

02:12for six months.

02:14Two ladies who respectively won Best Hat and the Most Creative Hat share the inspiration

02:18behind their beautiful hats.

02:19It feels amazing, especially because I'm a milliner, so I've made my millinery piece,

02:23so it's just really fitting that I won this category today.

02:26Yeah, so it's a bit of an art deco feel with metallics, and I thought metallics were in

02:30this season, but also I love vintage, so yeah, it all came together.

02:34I'm very happy.

02:35I came from Germany, over here, especially for the World Cup, and it's designed by my

02:40mother, Tatiana Isay, and therefore I'm very proud.

02:43Meanwhile, Tunisian actress Abir Binani walked home with the Most Elegant Lady title and

02:48is now the proud owner of a long-jeans watch.
