00:12Banks in the UAE have started refunding the money back to customers who are affected due

00:17to a glitch in the ATMs on Saturday. Several bank cards in the UAE failed, leaving customers

00:23unable to withdraw money from ATMs or make over-the-counter payments in stores. Several

00:29banks are believed to have been impacted, according to Network International. The payment

00:33solutions provider said a slowdown in the connectivity grid was the cause of the problem.

00:39An Emirates NBD official said the bank would like to assure all customers that their money

00:43is secure and no customer will face any losses as a result of the incident.

00:48Thousands of residents are fleeing the Iraqi city of Fallujah amid artillery fire and airstrikes

00:53by government forces. The exodus comes after the government admitted it has lost control

00:58over the city to al-Qaeda-linked militants and allied tribesmen.
