00:00How would you describe your character in this show?
00:02Well, I think Victoria comes into the White Lotus world in a state of grief.
00:09We don't really know that until we see her in a dream and her father's walking behind
00:14her husband and she screams and her children are running away from her and she's feeling
00:21like things could leave her and she loves her children so much that she controls them.
00:28She doesn't let them, you know that book that's really popular now, and instead she
00:34sees herself in all of her children and they represent her.
00:43She's spoiled.
00:44She's very much a woman child and a narcissist.
00:48A lot of that is due to her sensitivity and her wanting to escape, which she does through
00:55taking pills.
00:57She wishes she wasn't even on vacation, she didn't want to leave.
01:03She doesn't really know where she is, it doesn't really matter.
01:07She's with her children that are going to leave the nest soon and one of them is making
01:12a questionable choice in wanting to discover Buddhism and she thinks that's just terrible.
01:26A lot going on here.
01:28What did you think when you read these scripts?
01:30I've seen a couple, I've seen a couple.
01:33I think I gave you like a Roger and Ebert kind of thing.
01:36No, great.
01:37I loved it.
01:38Okay, good.
01:39What did you think when you read these scripts and saw what Mike kind of wanted you to do
01:42in the show?
01:44I was so excited when I read the scripts.
01:49It was a definite ride.
01:52So well written and embodied in these characters that all of these actors are going to play.
01:59I get to picture what they're going to be like when you show up and it's a totally different
02:04thing and so it's really exciting to act in a family, I'd never done that so that was
02:12really cool.
02:13And you've got a good group here that you're working with.
02:16Yeah, yeah.
02:17So it came together after the strike, it was very fast and it had the feeling of being
02:28survivor meets the amazing race meets White Lotus, like a real experience and yeah, those
02:35are like, those are precious, right?
02:39Totally.
02:40Yeah.
02:41How do you feel like the season compares to the first two that we've seen?
02:43How are you?
02:44What?
02:45How do you feel like the season compares to the first two seasons of White Lotus?
02:49Darker for sure, it seems like.
02:50You said what?
02:52Darker for sure.
02:53I don't.
02:54He's probably going to hum you down.
02:55I don't know.
02:56I haven't seen it.
02:57You haven't seen any?
02:58I haven't seen it yet.
02:59Oh, are you going to watch it tonight?
03:00No, not tonight.
03:01Okay.
03:02Did you watch the show?
03:03Exactly.
03:04You know, there's so many things when you get to play a part that is like in the White
03:12Lotus world, in this mythology, what you get to show, because it is an Americana in
03:19a way.
03:20Now we know what White Lotus means now, what it is, you know?
03:28So I loved the, I loved being a part of, you know, a character, actor in this, that was
03:39fun.
03:40Because I think these go into people's homes in a way that other genre things don't, and
03:47so they become part of the vernacular in your family and your friends, which is great.
03:52So it becomes like a certain eye on a people and people that we know, that we've seen,
03:59and we go like, oh God, you know?
04:02So it's so fun to create those people, that person.
04:07Are you going to watch this at some point, or what's your plan?
04:10I'll watch it at some point.
04:12Like, blinking in the next room, honestly, I may not watch it, you know?
04:17Could you imagine why?
04:18I just started sweating just by the question of it.
04:21It's like, I probably should, but I don't know.
04:30How's my hair holding up?
04:32Good.
04:33Okay.
04:34Well, thank you so much.
04:35I appreciate it.
04:36Nice meeting you.
