00:00Philippine National Police, or PNP, is fully prepared for the start of the campaign period
00:04with additional personnel deployed, especially in areas of concern identified by the Kamalak.
00:10They will also ensure courteous behavior at checkpoints with vehicle traffic expected
00:14to increase during campaign sorties. The PNP continues to disband private armed groups,
00:20or PAGs, with Aguinto Group and Central Luzon already surrendering their firearms and ammunition.
00:26The PNP has identified other active and potential PAGs in various regions,
00:31and as of now, over 186,000 checkpoints have been established
00:36with significant firearms confiscated and arrests made.
00:56without their intention to surrender their firearms.
01:01So this is a good start, and we hope that by March 31,
01:06the process for the possible delisting and disbanding of these private armed groups will start.
