00:00Rescue and relief operations are continuing in the flood-stricken areas of Baco, Oriental Mindoro.

00:06ASAPI's Philippine Information Agency, MIMAROPA, has the details of the situation in the country.

00:13Some areas in the Oriental Mindoro province are still submerged in floodwater

00:18due to the heavy rain and wind brought by the shirline.

00:20Baco is already one of the affected areas last Saturday and Sunday.

00:26Of the 11,000 affected families,

00:30436 families or 1,936 individuals were evacuated and brought by the authorities to evacuation centers.

00:38Because of this, the local government of Baco continues to provide relief assistance

00:43to the affected families in the evacuation centers.

00:47According to Gina Makuhan of Baco Public Information Office,

00:50more than 100 family food packs have been provided since yesterday

00:55and relief goods are still being repacked to be distributed to other families.

01:00In an aerial inspection,

01:02the fishing and fishing vessels in 24 barangays in the town of Baco made a profit.

01:08According to the Office of the Municipal Agriculturalist,

01:11the total damage to the agriculture and fisheries sector in the town of Baco

01:16has reached more than Php 9 million.

01:19Until now, rescue and relief operations continue in the town of Baco

01:24despite the heavy rain and wind brought by the shirline in Oriental Mindoro.
