00:00A clearing operation was carried out by the MMDA in Pasay today.

00:05This is after the complaints received in the 8888 Citizens Complaint Hotline.

00:19Although the banquets were already held,

00:23some of them were left behind by the MMDA in the clearing operation in Pasay that day.

00:28Some cars were illegally parked on the road.

00:36The MMDA in Manila Development Authority, Metropolitan, was very angry

00:42when the clearing operation was carried out in Gotamco Street in Pasay.

00:46They removed the plants and the greenhouse

00:50even though the residents of Barangay 17 Zone 1 were there

00:54when the banquets were held.

00:56The residents of Barangay 17 Zone 1 were informed

00:59that this was the second time they carried out an operation

01:03in the area where the complaints were received in the 8888 Citizens Complaint Hotline.

01:09We gave them a chance to remove it on their own,

01:13which they did.

01:15But the problem here, when we arrived today,

01:17what we saw was that they blocked the banquets

01:20and they even obstructed a portion of the road which covers the drainage system.

01:26They did not lease another greenhouse

01:29because the barangay officials said that they will be leaving soon.

01:33The stores that reached the banquets were also destroyed.

01:36Some cars were illegally parked on the road.

01:40In Apello Street or Apello Coup Street,

01:43some taxis were parked on the side of the road.

01:46A motorcycle with a child seat was also blocked

01:50and no helmet was worn.

02:01who followed the law

02:03so that the banquets will be properly and cleanly passed by the public.
