Two men were charged at the Magistrate's Court in Kuala Lumpur on Monday (Feb 10) for rioting with weapons in a hit-and-run incident involving two vehicles in front of an entertainment centre recently.

00:00Two men were charged at the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate's Court on Monday for rioting with weapons in
00:06a hit-and-run incident.
00:0826-year-old Agilan Gunasegaran and 19-year-old Anbu Selvan Ganesan pleaded not guilty to
00:14the charge of participating in the riot and possessing a knife during the incident that
00:18happened in front of an entertainment outlet in Jalan Klang Lama.
00:22During the 6.18am incident on January 29th, two vehicles were driven recklessly and seen
00:28deliberately ramming into a group of men.
00:31The prosecution did not offer bail to the accused, but their lawyer asked for bail on
00:35the grounds that they were supporting their families.
00:38The court eventually allowed each to be granted bail of 1,500 ringgit, with one surety and
00:45fixed April 18th for case mention.
00:48Last week, three men who were involved in the same incident were slapped with similar
00:53charges.
