Two men were gunned down by a group of assailants outside a shopping mall in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur

The incident happened at the mall located on Jalan Loke Yew shortly after midnight on Tuesday (June 17).

00:09The incident happened at the mall located on Jalan Lok U, shortly after midnight on Tuesday.
00:15The victims were believed to be heading towards their car, parked nearby,
00:20when the assailants who were wearing helmets approached them and opened fire.
00:25Multiple shots were fired before the suspects fled the scene.
00:30Both victims, believed to be in their forties from Cebu, Sarawak, were shot in the head and body and died at the scene.
00:37Investigators from the Cheraz District Police Headquarters, along with the Forensic Unit, were deployed to the scene.
00:44Police are gathering information from witnesses and CCTV footage to identify the suspects.
00:51Last Friday, a similar shooting incident happened in Brickfields,
00:55where a man was killed and two others injured by assailants on motorcycles.
