00:00The U.S. Embassy reminded its people in the Philippines to follow the law

00:06after a staff member was arrested and was able to answer a traffic enforcer

00:11due to the use of the EDSA busway.

00:14In a statement, the Embassy said that they condemned the traffic incident

00:20to their people.

00:22Yesterday morning, the people were arrested by the Special Action of the Intelligence Committee for Transportation

00:29of the Department of Transportation of the S.U.V.

00:32which has a diplomatic plate from the U.S. Embassy

00:35due to the use of the EDSA busway.

00:38Instead of a driver's license, only a passport was shown to the American.

00:43But when the U.S. Embassy took a picture of the driver,

00:46there was a warm response from both sides.

00:50Despite this, the driver of the S.U.V. obtained a temporary operator's permit.
