00:00When it comes to New York City icons, you might think of yellow caps, bagels, and the Statue of Liberty.

00:04You should also think about the Four Seasons Hotel New York.

00:06Set in a stunning 52-story building on Billionaire's Row and designed by the architect of the Louvre Pyramid,

00:11the legendary Midtown Hotel has finally reopened after four years of renovation.

00:15The gorgeous marble lobby with its 33-foot ceiling has been preserved,

00:18and views from the rooms are some of the best in the city.

00:20I could see both Central Park and the Hudson River from mine.

00:22Staff had told me that the soaking tub would fill in 60 seconds, and they were right.

00:26After a very long bath, I headed to Ty Bar downstairs in the lobby to do the hard work of sampling the new menu,

00:31where drinks are designed to help you journey through New York City's last century.

00:34Channeling my inner Carrie Bradshaw, I opted for a Fifth Avenue Cosmo.

00:37No notes.

00:38After more cocktails, I bid farewell to the staff and headed back upstairs to bed

00:42to dream about the hotel's $80,000 night penthouse, which was sadly occupied during my stay.
