00:00Yeah, as of Thursday morning of Super Bowl week, you know, the good news for fans is
00:07there's tickets still available, and the average ticket price sold is hovering right around
00:11$7,100, which is actually 17% more affordable than what we saw last year during the same
00:16time.
00:17Yeah, I think a few things come to mind.
00:18First and foremost, the Superdome has about 15,000 more seats than what we saw last year
00:22in Allegiant Stadium.
00:24Another big piece is how much that travel costs, you know, your hotel, your airline.
00:28You know, some of the 49ers fans that drove a lot of the demand last year, much easier
00:32to get to Vegas than what we've seen a little bit now for the Eagles and Chiefs.
00:35And thirdly, it could be a little bit of fatigue.
00:37You know, we've seen that in the past, seventh straight AFC championship game, their price
00:40point for the AFC championship game was much more approachable than what we saw in Philadelphia.
00:44But both fan bases have won the Super Bowl in the past 10 years, obviously the Chiefs
00:48more than others.
00:49So, at some point, you know, maybe you're willing to spend a little bit less to see
00:52that next Super Bowl win.
00:58Appreciate you, my guy.
01:02Absolutely.
01:03We've seen so far in our data, about 21% of our sales have come from the state of Pennsylvania,
01:07as compared to only 10% from Missouri and Kansas.
01:10Obviously both fan bases are nationwide and travel super well, so always hard to drive
01:14exactly the amount of fans, but we're certainly expecting right now to see a little bit more
01:18green than maybe the Chiefs red on Sunday.
01:20Yeah, New Orleans is just an amazing host city.
01:22I mean, you can just feel it around here.
01:23They really put their stamp on it better than probably any other city can.
01:27I think what's also interesting is, this is also just the, you know, the pre-party for
01:31Mardi Gras in a few weeks, which might be the only city in America that says that the
01:34Super Bowl is not going to be the king event of the year.
01:37But I think what happens is, Vegas is just an interesting one to look at, with the amount
01:41of hotel rooms available, it allowed for a ton of fans from both teams just to be on
01:47site within walking distance of the stadium.
01:49New Orleans has a little bit of that same feel, but a little bit less of that infrastructure
01:52in there.
01:53So, you know, that's where we're kind of seeing some of the prices maybe not be reflected
01:56as high, with potentially a little bit less people within the Superdome walking area.
02:26Yeah.
