00:03I believe he'll make his debut this weekend

00:06I mean, I guess Gilbert, it'd be silly to even ask

00:08which one you're most interested in watching

00:09because we know, I mean, it's this one.

00:12And boy, I mean, the world will be watching.

00:14I mean, the NBA's ready.

00:15Is it Saturday night that the Lakers play?

00:17Saturday afternoon.

00:18Saturday afternoon.

00:19So ahead of the Super Bowl.

00:20It's a big weekend for sports again.

00:23Yeah, absolutely.

00:24And it's going to be exciting to see.

00:25It's kind of one of those things where

00:26I've now seen him in Lakers gear on the bench,

00:28seen him in his uniform,

00:29but it won't really feel real

00:31until you see him suit up on the floor

00:33next to LeBron James.

00:35There are going to be a lot of questions

00:36about how the two are going to fit next to one another.

00:39But the answer is,

00:40they're two of the smartest basketball players

00:42in the league right now

00:43and probably the game has ever seen.

00:45They're going to eventually figure it out.

00:47And the fact that Luca Doncic is making his debut

00:49in early February is good for the Lakers

00:52because they have about a two-month runway

00:54until the postseason.

00:55The Lakers are playing really good basketball right now.

00:57Got a big win over the Clippers on Tuesday.

00:59They have another big game against the Warriors tonight

01:01who will probably be undermanned

01:03because the trade has yet to be finalized.

01:05So the Lakers have a lot of momentum on their side.

01:07They're incorporating not just any piece,

01:09but Luca Doncic at a great time

01:11right before the all-star break.

01:12So I'm excited to see what comes of that.

01:14And then when they incorporate Mark Williams,

01:16who they acquired last night as well,

01:17should be big for them in the front court.

01:19So it's an exciting time if you're a Lakers fan.
