00:00Seat on this semi-private jet can cost as little as $250, but is it worth it? I flew with JSX,
00:05a public charter specializing in semi-private flights, to find out. I started at their dedicated
00:10terminal in Oakland. Checking the security was a breeze because it's just us JSX passengers here.
00:14The lounge is basic, but that's okay because I only had to arrive 20 minutes before my flight.
00:19There are no overhead compartments on board, so all passengers' bags do get checked. Luckily,
00:23it's free. Meanwhile, dogs of all sizes can fly in the main cabin, a major perk for pet owners.
00:28As for the plane, I thought the seats were plush and comfortable. Each had a dedicated charger,
00:32tray tables, and lots of legroom. There are no TVs, but there is super fast Starlink Wi-Fi and also a
00:38nice selection of snacks and drinks, including the adult kind. The main downside is just the
00:43limited flight routes, mainly in the west and southwest, but there are plans to expand.
00:47Overall, I thought JSX was fast, efficient, and comfortable. Though not quite succession-level
00:51luxury, it is a great option if you want to get somewhere fast or keep your four-legged friend on board.
