Netanyahu, Hamas react to Trump Gaza comments

The Hamas leadership and Netanyahu have reacted to Trump’s comments, after he said the U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed Donald Trump as the "greatest friend Israel has ever had," following a meeting between the two leaders at the White House.  Senior Hamas official Izzat El-Reshiq said "We demand the U.S. President to retract these statements because such statements add fuel to the fire" as well as calling on Arabic nations to hold an "urgent Arab-Islamic summit to look into such statements"  President Donald Trump said the U.S. would take over war-ravaged Gaza and create a "Riviera of the Middle East" after resettling Palestinians elsewhere, shattering decades of U.S. policy on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and drawing regional condemnation.  #gaza #palestine #israel #netanyahu #trump #donaldtrump #middleeast
