Apparently Dailymotion is going to start (and in fact, has already) deleted videos that aren't being watched. Fucking disgusting tbh, but from my understanding I can also keep my account active and that should keep the videos up too?
Anyway, YouTube is always the primary source, but backups like Dailymotion are a necessity.
