Wendy Williams will remain locked up indefinitely, but she got good news Friday ... a judge will allow her to fly to Miami for her father's 94th birthday.

00:03She is getting out of the assisted living facility

00:06where she is, but just for two days.

00:09She got clearance to go to celebrate her father's

00:1294th birthday in Florida.

00:14It's a battle in the war she wants out altogether,

00:17but for now, the judge has said she can go to the party.

00:20She'll have court-ordered security with her,

00:23and two days, and then she's got to go back.

00:26This is one of the biggest miscarriages

00:29of justice I have ever seen.

00:32This woman is fine.

00:34I've spent hours and hours and hours and hours

00:36on the phone with Wendy, and she is fine.

00:39But I cry, you know what I'm saying?

00:41But I'm a mean bitch, you understand what I'm saying?

00:44Don't mistake my crying for a failure.

00:50show 10 years ago.

00:51Is she kooky? Yes.

00:53But is she crazy? No.

00:55There is something called alcohol-induced dementia.

00:58Which is very similar to frontal temporal dementia,

01:02which they said she has.

01:03Frontal temporal never gets better.

01:06It only gets worse.

01:07Alcohol can get better.

01:09She was an alcoholic.
