It's an interesting question. I don't think shops should necessarily be forced to accept
00:06
cash. It obviously becomes challenging for some people if nowhere accepts cash. That
00:13
can be quite a challenge for some people in society. But I'm not convinced that compelling
00:18
businesses to take cash is the answer.
00:21
I think you should be able to pay cash and card because I like cash. As I got older I
00:27
used my credit card to put petrol in. But I think to be told you've got to use a credit
00:31
card is a bit naughty. I do think you should have a choice. To be told, I've gone somewhere
00:36
and said we don't take cash. What if I hadn't got a credit card? Now I think that's a bit
00:41
naughty. You should have a bit of both.
00:42
I think eventually it's obviously easier for what they call companies and stuff to just
00:47
use card because it's easier to bank and all that kind of thing. But you can't expect everyone
00:52
to use something that they don't want to. I wouldn't know at that age how to use a card.
