00:11Serpang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Norhizam Bahaman said the suspect, in his
00:1750s, had been waiting in his car while the woman was inside the mall and is believed
00:22to have fallen asleep.
00:24He was arrested on Saturday and remanded for three days following approval from the Terlok
00:29Datuk Magistrate's Court in Kuala Langat.
00:32The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code and Section 18 of the
00:39Domestic Violence Act, 1994.
00:43After the assault, police said the man took his wife and child to stay in Nilai Negri
00:48Sembilan before dropping them home.
00:51He then fled and was believed to be sleeping in his car to evade arrest.
