00:00Good morning, this is the PTV Balita Ngayon.
00:04President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. stated that the call for an increase in the salary is still needed to be studied.
00:11This is one of the possible effects of this when it comes to legal discussions and the economy,
00:15particularly in micro, small, and medium enterprises or MSMEs.
00:19According to the President, a balance is needed when it comes to small business owners and regular wage earners.
00:25The President assures that the government will address the issue of an increase in salary
00:29as well as the increase in the prices of the main buyers.
00:32The House Committee on Labor and Employment first approved the bill
00:37for a 200 pesos daily across-the-board wage increase for workers in the private sector.

01:03from the victims of cybercrime last year.
01:06According to CICC Executive Director Alexander Ramos,
01:10the high number of complaints is because the public is more aware here
01:14and they are more open to report or provide information.
01:17Based on the data, 35% of the complaints are related to consumer fraud.
01:21These include products, services, and fake advertisements that were not delivered or received.
