00:00Following the appalling criminality that we saw in Cambridgeshire and across the region

00:05last Saturday, I wanted to update everybody that we've conducted a series of raids today

00:10across the region and we've arrested two people as a result of this morning's activity in

00:18Grantham and in Spaulding. Two people are currently with us in custody here at the police

00:24station and we've seized a number of vehicles and hair courting equipment. We've been out

00:29in force across the region, in Essex as well as Cambridgeshire and in Lincolnshire. This

00:37is the first step in our extensive investigation that we've been conducting since last weekend

00:42using local, regional and national resources to combat what we saw last weekend. This is

00:49only the first step in what we're doing, this will continue, more arrests will be made.

00:53We're committed to keeping the people of Cambridgeshire safe and this weekend we'll see enhanced

00:59activity, enhanced patrols to prevent a reoccurrence of last weekend. We're committed to making

01:06people feel safe and be safe.
