PM calls on civil servants to extend full cooperation to the new Chief Secretary to the govt

Prime Minister  Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on civil servants to work as a team with  newly appointed Chief Secretary to the Government , Datuk Seri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar.  Shamsul Azri was appointed to the post on Aug 7, replacing Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali, who retired on Aug 10.  The 55-year-old was the Public-Private Partnership Unit director-general prior to the appointment and has been in public service for 30 years. 00:25to increase our achievements and fulfill the hopes of not only the public officials, but also the people.

00:46The decision has been made, and any decision, including the appointment of the Prime Minister,

00:53is not necessarily the best decision.

00:57But the decision has been made, and what we need to do is

01:02We have made the decision, we have the determination to carry it out.

01:16That is a big commitment for us to carry out.

01:20And we have to trust in Allah SWT.
