On the 3rd of January this year, at around 2.30pm,
00:07
a video was captured by the Selangor Police
00:10
in a TikTok application through an account
00:13
where several individuals were present at a gathering
00:16
and were wearing clothes that were almost identical to the uniform.
00:22
One session was held under Section 140 of the Penal Code,
00:28
Section 50 of the 3rd Article of the Constitution, 1966,
00:33
and Section 233 of the Communication and Multimedia Act.
00:37
This session was held and 40 individuals were arrested
00:43
and 18 were stripped of their clothes along with their badges and badges
00:49
as well as their accessories.
00:52
In addition, the investigation was also carried out on the premises of their office in Bandar,
00:59
on the outskirts of Subang,
01:00
which also took things that were believed to be belonging to the individuals of the group.
01:09
The result of the investigation found that the gathering was attended by an individual
01:13
from this group who was staying at a hotel in Sungai Buluk, Sya Alam.
01:20
The clothes that were stripped of belonged to an individual
01:24
who was present at the gathering and was a member of the group.
01:30
The investigation found that the group registered their badges and badges
01:35
that were used on the clothes were not the same as those registered.
01:40
The group registered as an NGO.
01:45
The badges that were registered were different,
01:47
but the badges that were used on their clothes were different.
01:52
The accessories that were worn also almost resembled uniform clothing accessories,
01:56
those in power such as the army.
02:00
The police requested that individuals or organizations
02:03
do not wear clothes that resemble uniformed troops
02:07
or any badges, badges, badges,
02:10
and accessories that can distort the image of the uniformed troops
02:16
and are misused for things that are not supposed to be done.
02:20
We will ask the Ministry to cancel the registration of these individuals.
02:27
And those who are involved in this will be accused in the near future
02:31
for the related errors.
02:38
We have recorded as many as 40 people who are involved in this group
02:45
and the accused are a total of 7 people.
02:52
They have no relationship with the dark party,
02:56
but we believe that they are selling the status of respect,
03:02
and so on, to the public who are involved or are members of this group.
03:08
They are not entitled to use or wear these badges and badges.
03:18
They are mere NGO badges for charity.
03:27
We will ask those who are involved or are victims of these badges
03:34
to show their faces to the police for further investigation.
