00:01A brazen armed robbery at a gold shop in the heart of Kuala Lumpur has left investigators

00:14Investigators have since determined that the getaway vehicles used by the suspects were
00:18fitted with fake registration plates, believed to belong to entirely different vehicles.
00:23Brickfield's District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Hu Chang-hook, told Bulletin
00:28TV3 that the registered owner of the original plate number has already been interviewed
00:33to assist with the investigation.
00:35He added that so far, 12 individuals including the complainant, the shop owner, and 10 employees
00:41have had their statements recorded to assist the investigation.
00:45Authorities are also reconstructing a detailed timeline of events before and after the robbery,
00:51analyzing CCTV footage from multiple locations around the scene, and examining all angles
00:57of the case.
00:57The robbery took place at a gold shop along Jalan Toon Sambanthan on Thursday morning.
