00:00From the Philippine News Agency, because of the unbridled fight against smuggling,

00:05the Bureau of Customs was able to compensate 85.167 million pesos in contraband in 2024.

00:13Despite this, Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio stated that they will continue to fight against criminal organizations.

00:23On the 38th anniversary of Customs Intelligence and Investigation on Monday,

00:29Rubio considered BOC-CIIS Manila International Container Port as the overall best field station office

00:37after it was able to confiscate 60.5 billion pesos in contraband,

00:43including illegal drugs worth 876 million pesos last year.

00:50Meanwhile, BOC continues to assist in areas affected by typhoons such as Camarines Sur.
