00:24In a statement, Yap said she would fully cooperate with police investigations into

00:30She said she deeply regretted her insensitive comment and promised not to repeat her actions

00:35in the future.

00:36A total of 16 reports have been lodged against Harif and Yap, who are accused of insulting

00:42Islam and the Prophet Muhammad through their remarks on social media.

00:47Last Wednesday, police took Harif's statement and were reportedly trying to locate Yap.

00:51Their comments followed the controversy surrounding the sale of ham sandwiches allegedly lacking

00:56halal certification at a convenience store at University Malaya.
