00:00The Filipino ace surfer, Rogelio Esquivel Jr.

00:04won his third consecutive championship in the men's division of La Union International Longboard Qualifying Series

00:11which was held in San Juan, La Union.

00:13Esquivel scored 15.67 to compete against his fellow Filipino, Perry Ventura, who scored 14.84.

00:24All Filipino surfers also competed in the semifinals where Esquivel defeated Roger Casogay

00:32while Ventura defeated Joe Marie Ebueza.

00:36In the interview with Esquivel, he said that the improvement of the surfers was not only in the Philippines but also in Asia.
