00:00Well, Moscow has reiterated its position saying that it is open for the negotiations with
00:06the newly inaugurated US President Donald Trump and Moscow insists it was not on the
00:12Russian side that this dialogue has been interrupted, saying that the ball is now in the American's
00:18court and Moscow is waiting for the signals for the upcoming contact between the presidents
00:23of the two countries.
00:25At the same time, Moscow is saying very clearly that those threats of sanctions from the US
00:30side have nothing new and Moscow already has seen most of the sanctions being imposed by
00:37the Trump administration in his first term.
00:41So Moscow is now saying that indeed it is waiting for this dialogue.
00:45Moscow will inform about the upcoming negotiations should they be taking place in a timely manner
00:51according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
00:53But Moscow is also saying that it will be willing to engage with Washington into the
00:58disarmament negotiations, saying that they will be actually in the benefits of the entire
01:04world and especially in the benefit of the peoples of these two countries.
01:08However, Moscow does insist that when they talk about the disarmament and the nuclear
01:13arsenals, then the nuclear arsenals of the UK, France and the US allies, they should
01:18all be taken into account.
01:21So we understand that Moscow is sending a very strong signal to Washington that it is
01:25open for the negotiations and there are different layouts of how these negotiations could be
01:30taking place.
01:31But also we've heard from the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Gorshko on Friday
01:34saying that any possible solution on Ukraine must include international guarantees that
01:40Kyiv will not be joining NATO.
01:43And he said that will be addressing the root causes of the Ukrainian conflict.
01:47So the diplomatic dialogue continues.
01:50So to the military action, Russia saying it's repelled a massive Ukrainian drone attack
01:56across the country.
02:02That's right.
02:03The Russian Ministry of Defence this morning said that there were at least 121 Ukrainian
02:08drones intercepted over the Russian regions, 13 Russian regions over the course of the
02:14past night.
02:15We also understand there have been drones even in the Moscow region, in Verminsk.
02:19We have also seen those drones attacking the settlements close to the Russian capital including
02:26in Kolomna.
02:27But 20 drones have been intercepted in the Ryazan region where an oil refinery has caught
02:32fire as per the witness reports.
02:34We also understand that a military airfield has been attacked.
02:38But the governor of this region speaking to the public has indeed confirmed the strike
02:42but said that there was only a residential house that has caught a fire.
02:47We also understand that there were attacks against some residential constructions in
02:52the Voronezh region and also in the Bryansk region.
02:56Ukrainian drones, according to the local authorities, have hit the microelectronics plants.
03:02And the work of this plant has been interrupted because of this attack.
03:06But those attacks have been persistent.
03:08And we are also hearing from the aviation authorities that several airports have forced
03:13to stop the operations for some time including in the city of Kazan, Penza, Saratov, Samara
03:19and Nizhny Kamsk.
