00:00I'm very honored to receive the OAM award, but I would like to dedicate it to every member of the Vietnamese community in Wollongong.

00:09Everything I did and achieved with our community, I did not do it by myself.

00:14And it's impossible to achieve this without acknowledging the contribution and assistance of a lot of people behind me.

00:21And I believe that it doesn't matter who you are and where you are,

00:26it's important to make a contribution to the country that you live.

00:29We call Australia home after escaping from the communist regime in Vietnam.

00:34And every day that we survive, we thank God and we must never take for granted who we are and what we have today.

00:42So it's very important to continue the journey and make a contribution and be grateful for who you are and what you have.

00:49Together we can make a difference to someone else's life. That's what I believe.
