00:00One of the most important gun bans in this election period.

00:04That is the latest call of the Philippine National Police to the public regarding the gun ban.

00:09In the program Mike Abby Live,

00:11said the PNP Spokesperson Brigadier General Jin Fajarto,

00:15that despite their repeated reminders,

00:19there are still those who carry guns even though they are not exempted based on the Comlec.

00:24According to their data, this January 21,

00:27more than 270 guns were confiscated.

00:31Most of those were from Metro Manila, Region 3, and Region 7.

00:36Fajarto added,

00:38even if the PNP Chief does not replace them,

00:40the preparation of the Philippine National Police will not change

00:44in order to ensure security in the upcoming elections in May.

00:48Meanwhile, when it comes to manhunt operations,

00:52against the former Bureau of Corrections Director General Gerald Bantag,

00:57Fajarto said,

00:58the police will not stop until the former official is caught.

01:04Your direction to the police is again,

01:07your cooperation is declining,

01:09especially to those who are violating our gun ban

01:12and putting and respecting our checkpoints there.

01:17Let's just cooperate.
