00:00The Department of Agriculture in Comelec requested that the sale of NFA rice be exempted from the election ban by the local government.

00:08This is in accordance with the declaration of the National Food Security Emergency in the country.

00:11According to Agriculture Secretary Francisco T. Laurel Jr.,

00:15they will send a letter to Comelec to officially announce the program for the sale of NFA rice.

00:21Based on the latest data, 67 local governments have decided to sell NFA rice to their localities.
